This tour covers many of India’s highlights, the capital city of Delhi, the holiest Hindu city on the banks of the River Ganges -Varanasi, the city of Taj Mahal – Agra, the Pink city of Jaipur, the lake city of Udaipur, the home of Bollywood and India’s commercial capital Mumbai, before ending in India’s favourite beach destination – Goa. Travelling by train is also an inexpensive way of seeing the country.

Day 1Arrive Delhi

You will be met on your arrival at Delhi International Airport and transferred to Hotel The Suryaa, where your Experience India tour begins. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 2Overnight train Delhi/Varanasi

Breakfast at hotel followed by a full day sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi visiting - The Red Fort, Friday Mosque - Jama Masjid, The silver street of Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat, The Hindu temple - Birla Mandir, The India Gate, The Rashtrapati Bhawan - President's House, The tomb of Emperor Humayun, Qutab Minar and The Bahai Temple. Later transfer to Delhi railway station in time to board overnight train for Varanasi (standard check out time at the hotel is 1200 hrs noon). Overnight onboard train

Day 3Arrive Varanasi

Arrive Varanasi. Met on arrival at Varanasi railway station and transfer to Hotel Ideal Tower (standard check in time at the hotel is 1200 hrs noon). Afternoon sightseeing tour of Varanasi visiting bathing ghats, The Kashiviswanath Temple, The Durgakund, The Sankatmochan -- Shrine of Monkey God Hanuman. Overnight in Varanasi.

Day 4Train Varanasi /Agra

Early morning dawn boat ride on River Ganges. Later transfer to Varanasi railway station in time to board train for Agra. Met on arrival at Agra railway station and transfer to Hotel Howard Plaza. Overnight in Agra

Day 5In Agra

Breakfast at the hotel followed by a sightseeing tour of Agra city visiting the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Sikandra and Itmad-ud-Daulah. Overnight in Agra.

Day 6Drive Agra/Bharatpur (60 kms/approx 1 ½ hrs) and train Bharatpur/Jaipur

Drive to Bharatpur railway station, en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri. After the visit, transfer to Bharatpur railway station in time to board train for Jaipur. Met on arrival at Jaipur railway station and transfer to Hotel Mandawa Haveli. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 7In Jaipur

Breakfast at the hotel followed by a full day sight-seeing tour of Jaipur visiting Hawa Mahal -- The Palace of Winds, The Jantar Mantar, The City Palace and the Amber Fort. Your tour includes a ride up the Fort on an Elephant's back. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 8Train Jaipur/ Udaipur

Transfer to Jaipur railway station in time to board train for Udaipur. Met on arrival at Udaipur railway station and transfer to Hotel Udai Kothi. Overnight in Udaipur.

Day 9In Udaipur

Breakfast at the hotel followed by a sightseeing tour of Udaipur visiting City Palace, Jagdish Temple and Saheliyon ki bari. Overnight in Udaipur.

Day 10Overnight train Udaipur/Mumbai (Operates daily except Monday)

Day at leisure until transfer to Udaipur railway station in time to board overnight train for Mumbai. (standard check out time at the hotel is 1200 hrs noon). Overnight onboard train.

Day 11Arrive Mumbai

Arrive Mumbai. Met on arrival at Mumbai railway station and transfer to Hotel Suba Palace (standard check in time at the hotel is 1200 hrs noon). Overnight in Mumbai.

Day 12In Mumbai

Breakfast at the hotel followed by a sightseeing tour of Mumbai visiting the Gateway of India, The Prince of Wales museum, Hanging Gardens, Victoria Rail Station and the Marine drive. Overnight in Mumbai.

Day 13Train Mumbai /Goa

Transfer to Mumbai railway station in time to board train for Goa. Met on arrival at Goa railway station and transfer to Hotel Casa De Goa. Overnight in Goa.

Day 14In Goa

Day at Leisure. Overnight in Goa.
