Day 1Arrive Kolkata
You will be met on your arrival at Kolkata International Airport and transferred to Hotel The Peerless Inn. Kolkata, Eastern India’s largest city, will be the first stop of your tour. Overnight in Kolkata
Day 2Kolkata – Bagdogra – Darjeeling (90 Kms/ 3.30 hrs)
After breakfast, transfer to airport in time to board flight for Bagdogra, the gateway to the eastern Himalayas. Met on your arrival at Bagdogra airport and drive to Darjeeling by road. On your arrival in Darjeeling check into the Hotel Dekeling. Overnight in Darjeeling.
Day 3Drive Darjeeling -Maneybhanjang – 26 Kms/2 hrs and start Trek approx. 11 Kms/ 5 hrs.
Drive to Maneybhanjang, located at an altitude of 2134 m which is the starting point of this trek. The trek from Maneybhanjang to Tonglu covering 11 kms/5 hrs is steep and up a zigzag road. One can see different varieties of rhododendrons and magnolias (best season for this flower is April & May) en-route and can see the magnificent view of Kanchenjunga. Overnight at Tonglu (3078 m), includes all meals.
Day 4Trek: Tonglu-Sandakphu- approx. 21 Kms/8 hrs
The trek to Gairibas is downhill then gradually climbs up and the last part of the trek is very steep. Once you reach the top you will have the magnificent views of the mountains of this part of the world like Mt. Everest, Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Lhotse and other peaks of Sikkim and Nepal Himalayas. Overnight at Sandakphu (3636 m), includes all meals
Day 5Trek : Sandakphu-Rimbick approx. 18 Kms/6-7 hrs
Downhill trek to Sirikhola passing villages and farmland and then all the way uphill through the forest to Rimbick. Overnight at Rimbick (2331 m), includes all meals.
Day 6Drive from Rimbick to Darjeeling( 56 Kms /approx. 4 Hrs )
Leisurely drive to Darjeeling. On arrival check in at the Hotel Dekeling. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Darjeeling .
Day 7Drive Darjeeling /Bagdogra airport (90 Kms/approx. 3.30 Hrs) and Depart
Transfer to Bagdogra airport in time to board flight for onward destination (standard check out time at the hotel is 1200 noon)
