Day 1Fly Delhi- Nagpur & Drive to Pench (90 kms / 02 hrs)
Your 07 days Tigers of Central India tour can begin with a pick up either from your hotel in New Delhi or from your local address and you will then be transferred to the New Delhi Airport to board your flight for Nagpur. Met on arrival at the Nagpur airport and transferred to Pench by road. Pench National Park – The Pench National Park, is a relatively recent addition to the list of Project Tiger Reserves, and is one of the lesser known parks of Central India. It is said to have been the inspiration behind Rudyard Kiplings ‘Jungle Book’. Conveniently located, only about 2 hours drive from Nagpur airport, the Pench National Park, in addition to Tigers, is also known for it’s rich bird life, and for sightings of other mammals like Langur, Jungle Cats and spotted Deer., On your arrival in Pench, check in at the Pench Tree Lodge. Day 3Drive Pench – Kanha (200 kms / 05 hrs)
After breakfast, depart for Kanha by road. On your arrival in Kanha, check in at the Kanha Earth Lodge. Kanha National Park is located in the Central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. This National Park was also the inspiration behind Rudyard Kipling's classic Jungle book. Wildlife attractions seen in Kanha National Park are tiger, bison, gaur, sambhar, chital, barasingha, barking deer, black deer, black buck, chousingha, nilgai, mouse deer, sloth bear, jackal fox, porcupine, hyena, jungle cat, python, pea fowl, hare, monkey, mongoose, tiger, and leopard. Day 5Drive Kanha – Bandhavgarh (250 kms / 06 hrs)
After breakfast depart for Bandhavgarh by road. The Bandhavgarh National Park abounds in many of India's rare and endangered animals: Chital, Sambar, Muntjak (Barking Deer), Nilgai, Chinkara, Chowsingha (Four-horned antelope), Gaur (the Largest Oxen), Sloth Bear, Wild Boar, Leopard and Tiger. Bandhavgarh is undoubtedly one of the best reserves for seeing Indian Tigers. Sighting a Royal Bengal Tiger in the wild, is sure to be the highlight of your wildlife safari in India.
