Day 1Arrive Trivandrum (Kovalam)
You will be met on your arrival at Trivandrum International Airport and transferred to the hotel of your choice, in Kovalam, famous for it’s sun drenched beaches, located only 15 kms from Trivandrum airport. The city is gateway to one of the most beautiful states in India –Kerala, and is the start point of your Kerala tour. Overnight in Kovalam.
Day 2In Kovalam
Breakfast at the hotel followed by a sightseeing tour of Trivandrum visiting -Sri Padmanabha Swamy temple, Kuthiramalaika Royal Palace Museum, Napier Museum and Sree Chitra Art Gallery. Overnight in Kovalam.
Day 3Kovalam-Houseboat
After breakfast, depart for Alleppey by road (170kms /04 hrs) to board houseboat for overnight cruise in the backwaters of Kerala. Cruise takes you through the palm fringed canals and is a unique way to discover Kerala. Evening candlelit dinner on board houseboat. The night spent on the Houseboat will long be remembered by you as the highlight of your Kerala tour package. Overnight on board the Houseboat.
Day 4Houseboat-Kumarakom
After breakfast, disembark the houseboat in Kumarakom and check in to the Backwater resort of your choice for another unique experience. Overnight at the Resort.
Day 5Kumarakom-Periyar
After breakfast, depart for Periyar by road (140 kms/04 hrs).The Periyar Wildlife sanctuary is one of the best maintained wildlife sanctuaries in Southern India, giving an opportunity of spotting elephants, leopards, tigers and bisons, amongst various other species of flora and fauna. On your arrival in Periyar check into the Resort of your choice. Overnight at the Resort.
Day 6In Periyar
Early morning boat ride on Periyar lake to watch wildlife. After breakfast a short jungle trek with a naturalist to watch flora, fauna and avifauna. Overnight at the Resort.
Day 7Periyar-Munnar
After breakfast, depart for Munnar by road(110 kms/04 hrs). Munnar is one of the most beautiful Hill stations of Kerala, famed for its manicured tea plantations and quiet colonial atmosphere. On your arrival in Munnar check into the hotel of your choice. Overnight in Munnar.
Day 8In Munnar
Breakfast at the Hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight in Munnar.
Day 9Munnar-Cochin
After breakfast, depart for Cochin by road (150 kms/4 ½ hrs). Cochin or Kochi (new name) is the palm green commercial capital of Kerala, and the last stop of your Kerala tour. On your arrival in Cochin check into the hotel of your choice. Evening watch spectacular Kathakali dance show. Overnight in Cochin.
Day 10In Cochin
Breakfast at the hotel followed by a sightseeing tour of Cochin visiting - St. Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue and the Chinese fishing nets. Overnight in Cochin.
Day 11Depart Cochin
Breakfast at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure in Cochin until transfer to the International Airport intime to board your flight home.
